I grew up in the Nob Hill area of Albuquerque, attended Albuquerque Public Schools and graduated from Highland High School.  After college, I taught in the Albuquerque Public School system for about 11 years.  My wonderful husband, Joe, and I have been married since 1981. He is the Chief Meteorologist at KOAT TV in Albuquerque. We have 2 grown sons who have flown the coup, so we are empty nesters. Since our two sons are no longer at home, we have acquired a 3rd son, this one being 4 legged. Sparky is our 15 pound Silky-Poo who we love to take with us whenever we can. He can brighten a tough day when you open the door and he is overjoyed to see you.
